This night we had a spontaneous campfire, built the firepit, roasted hot dogs and made smores. The kids loved it- especially the spontaneity of it. The picture below captures Carson getting hit with an ember from the fire- not planned- but caught nontheless. I love simple nights- we brought out our notes from General Conference and talked about what we learned it was sweet listening to what the kids remembered.
