Girls' Weekend Anyone?

Ryan and Carson took a trip to Utah, so I called my sister Tiffany, who only has one daughter, and asked if she wanted to come to my house for a girls' weekend. To the slight dismay of her husband, she said yes. We were so excited! Last Thursday we took Ryan and Carson to the airport very early - we left at 3:50a.m. and Tiffany and Rebekah got to our house just before 7:00p.m. Sorry no pictures, but Ryan had our camera and Tiffany's isn't working right now. That night we went to my wards enrichment night, a Service Auction, I got a night of babysitting, bow making lessons and handmade pinata of my choice. We also enjoyed the many different popcorn flavors that were provided.
Friday - We went to the Chandler mall, about a 45min to 1hour drive, to meet Rebekah Rose, Hilari Howard and Heather Coombs for lunch. We had a great time just chatting and letting the kids play! The drive home always takes much longer, especially when you stop at the teachers store and of course run in to the really nice Ross that is right next store. Being that I really do not venture far outside of Buckeye, to save gas mostly, I always love getting in a lunch date with the girls and a stop at the teachers store in the same driving trip. We did not get home until 5:00p.m. Tiffany gave the girls all a bath while I got dinner ready and then we watched The Little Mermaid and ate popcorn, Rebekah and Morgan were loving it. I do not remember if Cambryn watched any of the movie, we put her down pretty early since she did not sleep in the car, what can I say the girl loves her bed! After the girls were down, Tiffany and I just talked for a couple of hours.
Saturday - We did not do a whole lot in the morning, just let the girls play and got ready for the day. We took lunch to the park and then the girls got to play after they were done eating. It was time for naps when we got home and I stayed home with the girls while Tiffany went to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things. Shortly after she got home it was time to get ready to go again. As many of us California natives who could come and a few girls from Hilari's ward were meeting in Mesa to go out for Hilari's birthday, the big 30! There were 12 of us there and it was really fun. I got one of the girls from my old ward in Mesa to watch our girls. It was Carson's girlfriend's mom, for those of you who care. They have a daughter Carson's age, her name is Cambryn and yes that is where we came up with the name Cambryn. It was so fun to celebrate with Hilari - Happy Birthday Hilari!
Sunday - I made whole wheat waffles for breakfast and we had strawberries and bananas to slice on them - so yummy! Then Tiffany got ready to go, she had to be back for a meeting. It was so fun to have her here and I am sure it would have been funny to watch the two of us waddle around trying to take care of the three girls and get up from the recliners! Love you Tiff - glad you could come!!

I just found your blog. Your family is soo cute, but when did your kids get so big? I swear you and Ryan just got married!!! How is Arizona? How far from Chandler are you? My aunt lives there. Next time I go visit I will have to come see you guys. Hope all is going well. Tell Ryan I said hello.

I had a really fun time, thank you for inviting me out there. I am sure it would have been funny to watch some video of us "waddling" over to the park.
