Keepin it Real

The truth:
I am still finishing up Christmas posts.
I still have 3 Valentine decorations up.
I have close to 10 (maybe 12) unfinished craft projects lying around.
One of those projects is a cross-stitch that was supposed to be a Laurel project- which means I have had it for 16 years.
I have trouble finishing things.
I don't know why.
It makes me crazy.
I wish I could kick this bad habit.
Does anyone know of a cure?
Please help.
I welcome any ideas.

Scott has spent most of our marriage as a big procrastinator. He finally read something in a book that was a light bulb moment for him. The theory is some people have to create some sense of urgency/emergency to force themselves into action and suddenly the possibility of failure compels them to get something done at the last possible minute. Procrastinating doesn't produce results because their isn't an immediate threat of failure. And when there is no deadline- forget it. For some reason that helped Scott understand his procrastinating. That's my two cents and it's probably about all it worth. :)
