Christmas Eve

The girls helped daddy make cookies for Santa, while mom was in the shower.  We opted for sugar cookies this year- I picked up some already made dough the day before, when I was out doing the Christmas food shopping.  Bristyn did so much shopping with me this year and it was starting to wear on her.  When we shopped for food on Friday, she kept asking if it was time to go home.  For the third year in a row we had Christmas Eve dinner with the Jensens.  It was perfect, as always.  Most entertaining was Carson who had to figure out how to be Joseph, the wise men and the sheperds- since he was the only boy.  There are no pictures of the kids acting out the nativity- the battery on our camera died.  Also missing are pictures of the moms and the oldest kids from both familys.  We were there though, having a wonderful time.  As we count our blessing/gifts this Christmastime, the Jensens are definitely counted.  We are so grateful for their love and friendship.  When we got home from the Jensens the kids put out cookies and milk for Santa and left carrots and reindeer food for Rudolph and the other reindeer.
