Carson is Eleven!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday December 23 Carson had his birthday.  I remember him being born like it was yesterday.  Carson is such a joy to have around.  We of course woke him up by singing Happy Birthday to him and after that his day revolved around food.  He requested omelets for breakfast and his dad got up early to make them!  He had to go to school on his birthday for the first time this year, he was not excited about that, but I think he survived.  At the assembly on his birthday Carson got a few reading awards, a poster and a candy bar. One of the awards was for reading a million words. He is an awesome and avid reader. We are proud of him and his accomplishments.  So for his lunch at school he had a bagel instead of his usual p,b and honey sandwich.  When I got to school to pick up the kids our sweet carpool friends had a $10 gift card for his birthday(along with little christmas presents for the girls).

On our way home we picked up Carson's best friend to come and hang out for awhile. We made a quick stop at our house and Carson ran in and got his coupons for free Wendy's frostys- thanks uncle Andrew and aunt Maren- he had five of them and this sweet guy, most awesome big brother and friend shared his frosty coupons with his friend and 3 sisters. When we got home Carson played video games with his friend until he got picked up. Ryan got home a little later and changed his clothes and we went to Mimi's Carson's MOST favorite restaurant for dinner. He got a super yummy "French Quarter" which is an awesome cheeseburger with grilled parmesan bread, bacon, avocado and all the regular fixings- he LOVED it! He ate half and saved the other half for lunch the next day. While we were waiting to be seated we sang to him and he opened his birhtday present from us. When we got home the girls went STRAIGHT to bed- they were SO ready. Carson, Ryan and I then watched his birthday present- I didn't make it to the end of the movie though- I had stayed up super late the night before to finish the teachers Christmas presents.  I think his birthday was a success and now he is another year older, and wiser too!
