FLASHBACK- Carson's Birthday/Birthday Party

Our sweet Carson turned eight, on December 23! I really can't believe that I am a mother of an eight year old! I remember being pregnant with him- I absolutely thought it was the best thing in the world to be pregnant! I have always wanted to be a mother and was so excited to be growing a little child inside. My pregnancy was a total joy, minus the 4 weeks straight that Carson was kicking my gall bladder! My belly grew sooo huge and I didn't really realize how big it was- mostly because I could still get up and down from sitting on the floor and nothing hurt! Carson was 9lbs.13oz. and was delivered C-section, so we were in the hospital over Christmas. I still remember having Christmas music playing in the operating room.
Carson is so sensitive and caring, he is always thinking of others, he loves his sisters and is especially cute with Bristyn. Carson and Bristyn share a room right now and Carson LOVES to listen to Bristyn snore at night- I have to say that it is just about the cutest thing you have ever heard. He also thinks her tiny toes are very cute. My Carson is so helpful as well, before Bristyn was born he was praticing making lunches, so he could help me after I had my C-section. Choosing the right is very important to Carson and he is an example to all around him. We love you, Carson!

On his birthday his cousins came and we celebrated with quesidillas and banana bread.

We had Carson's party on Jan. 10, at Peter Piper Pizza. Carson had a blast- the final count was 6 boys! Of course Kobe spent the night on Friday as well- hours of Gamecube- what more could an eight year old boy want?!

I can't believe you have an 8 year old either. He looks like a sweet kid. I don't really like birthday cake so my mom always used to make me a banana cake or a lemon cake. Did he already get baptized?

What a cute kid...he looks just like his dad. I didn't realize our oldest (Parker) and Carson were so close in age. Parker's only 1 month older.
